Education

Education is critical to success in the future, and it is an integral part of every American’s life.  I believe every parent should have the right to choose where they send their children to school.  I’m a proud cosponsor of the Parents Bill of Rights Act to protect parental involvement in education by reinforcing their right to be heard.  Congress must work to ensure the success of all students, parents, workers, job creators, and families.

The American university system is the pride of the world and produces some of the brightest minds.  However, we should encourage those whose calling steers them in a different direction to continue their education at trade schools and community colleges, another crucial part of our education system, and one that deserves more investment.
